The PSA have recently published their reports following their assessments for each of the six Accredited Registers that are implementing the SCoPEd framework.

It is very disappointing that the PSA appears to have just accepted the responses of all the professional bodies to each and every concern that has been raised despite 70% of respondents to their survey expressing a critical view of SCoPEd and just 5% expressing a positive view.  Additionally, we find it puzzling that the PSA views BACP so favourably, given that BACP is the largest professional body for counsellors and psychotherapists in the UK and their detrimental actions towards their members are so concerning. We look to the PSA to act at times like these – but its  completely fails to address the challenges Scoped poses to effective practice and public protection.
