Liverpool Meet-Up
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the North and Midlands Branch social gathering in Liverpool in January.
This was the first PCU social event ever held in the city, and it went really well!
We were delighted to have over 25 therapists attending, it was warm and welcoming couple of hours. Some people came on their own, others with colleagues or friends, and it was wonderful to see so many people making new connections.
Being a therapist can be deeply rewarding, but it can also be demanding and, at times, isolating – particularly for those working in private practice. We want to continue to create opportunities for therapists to meet informally, share experiences, and feel part of a wider professional community.
A special thank you goes to Sue and Lee, who hosted the event and created such a friendly, inclusive atmosphere from the very start.
It’s been incredibly encouraging to see how positive the response has been.
Join us at the next Liverpool meet-up
We’ve sadly had to postpone the meet up planned for 14th March, due to illness. We don’t do this lightly, as we’d love to see you all.
We are planning to return to Liverpool in the coming months, so please watch out for more information as it becomes available.
As before, all therapists in the Liverpool City Region will be welcome, whether or not you’re currently a member of the Union. You’re welcome to come along with colleagues or on your own, there will always be someone there to say hello and help you settle in.
We hope to see many familiar faces, and some new ones too!
